Analysis of Conflict in Jhumpa Lahiri's "This Blessed House”

" This Blessed House” by Jhumpa Lahiri is a short story that follows a small time period in the two characters' lives. Having well-known one another for only four months, newlyweds Sanjeev and Tanima, named Twinkle, have found it difficult to sit in married life. Have very different individuality, a theme that Lahiri constantly points to over the story,. Their conflict relates to a head when Twinkle begins obtaining Christian artefacts all over the residence. Sanjeev really wants to throw the relics away, but Twinkle gathers them for the mantle and shows them off at every opportunity.
